'The Witching Hour' is a series of dip pen artworks created by artist Alice Durose. Her first ever works in dip pen explore scenes around the theme of 'The Witching Hour' and what happens on Halloween today, tomorrow and from the dawn of time. Where spirits soar and demons lurk. Rites and rituals are performed and invoke the darker side of nature and death to rise up and walk among us, for one special night.

Every print is printed in house, by me personally in my Derbyshire studio. I print every piece using my archival giclee printer, printing with pigment inks specially chosen for their lightfastness, longevity and vibrancy, onto Hanhemuhle German Etching paper, one of the worlds best quality and oldest paper mills.
