'Autumn' Green Man A4 Fine Art Giclee Print

My Green Man series is a long overdue tribute to the ancient British tradition of the foliate head. Inspired by the huge wealth of different Green Men across our aisles I chose to create my own to represent the four seasons.

Autumn is the most beloved of seasons, and he knows it. He is humble and modest despite the brief beauty he brings to our world. There is always a hint of sadness in his expression, because he knows of the hardships to come. Once the harvest is over, and the cold sets in, he will be gone for another year. Leaving our world a bare, lonely place.

Every print is printed in house, by me personally in my Derbyshire studio. I print every piece using my archival giclee printer, printing with pigment inks specially chosen for their lightfastness, longevity and vibrancy, onto Hanhemuhle German Etching paper, one of the worlds best quality and oldest paper mills.

The dimensions of this print are approximately A4: 21cm x 29.7cm (8.3 x 11.7 inches)
